INSTANT MESSENGER

Clients can submit documents for review and receive real-time consultation via chat. The benefit of using chat is that it is free due to the fact the client connects through their Internet provider.  Both Thibodeaux and the client therefore need not worry about excessive phone bills even though the communication is done live.  Clients also do not need to wait for a response as is necessary with regular mail, e-mail, etc. By using chat, it is possible for both Thibodeaux and the client to have a project document open on their computers, which would allow both parties to copy and paste suggestions, type concerns or questions, etc., all while having easy access to the project file for quick referral.  Additionally, the conversation can be saved after the consultation for later reference by both the client and Thibodeaux, which provides a written record of the length of consultation and the critique.

This type of consultation is best for critiques and brainstorming because of the real-time advantage.  

Thibodeaux holds active AIM and Yahoo Messenger accounts for Takingdictation.com.  Clients who wish to consult with or send documents through instant messenger can request that Thibodeaux add them as a buddy on the Takingdictation.com messenger accounts.  Clients will need to provide Thibodeaux with their active instant messenger screen name in order to be added to the buddy lists for Takingdictation.com and to receive chat consultation.
