METHODS OF PAYMENT AND ADDITIONAL FEES POLICY Methods of Payment Clients
may pay for services
obtained from Takingdictation.com in the following ways:
Wanda Marie Thibodeaux Additional Fees Policy Clients
should be aware that, like any other employee, Takingdictation.com expects timely
payments/paychecks.
Payments therefore
must be made no later than
one week after the completion of services.
In the case that a client cannot meet this deadline, the client must
notify Takingdictation.com immediately to negotiate a new payment date. For very
large projects, clients also may opt to negotiate a payment plan.
In this way, clients do reserve some flexibility in regard to
payment that may allow them to negotiate for services when they
otherwise might not be financially able to do so.
Takingdictation.com makes every effort to keep in close contact with clients in order to make sure that they understand the amount that they owe and when it is due. Multiple notices are sent to the client to remind them of outstanding balances. If a client encounters circumstances in which they cannot pay their bill by the due date, they must contact Takingdictation.com to make alternate arrangements and no late fee will be charged. However, in the instance that a client willfully ignores the date of payment due without contacting Takingdictation.com for alternate payment arrangements, a late fee of $15 will be added to the balance due for every week payment is late past the initial due date.
Takingdictation.com understands that life has a way of throwing curves. For this reason, if a client is unable to make contact regarding a late bill for reasons such as death in the family, unforeseen hospitalization, etc., then Takingdictation.com may choose to wave late fees acquired as appropriate if the client informs Takindictation.com of the circumstances. Some verification of the circumstances may be required in this case in order for Takingdictation.com to verify legally for tax purposes why late fees were not assessed. Acceptable verifications include a scanned copy of a hospital diagnosis, obituary notice, or other reliable documentation.
In
the case of willful neglect of payment, clients should note that
Takingdictation.com does have legal representation via Prepaid Legal
Services, Inc. Takingdictation.com will notify Prepaid Legal Services, Inc. when a client's balance is two months overdue in order to facilitate payment such as that to which Takingdictation.com is legally entitled under provider-client agreement(s).
Regardless of the method selected for a scheduled consultation, clients may reschedule their consultation two times without a fee. Clients who wish to reschedule more than the two times permitted may do so, but they will be assessed additional fees in the amount equal to the charges that would have been assessed during the appointment/consultation. These fees are applied when applicable due to the fact that scheduling a specific project on the Takingdictation.com calendar prevents Thibodeaux from accepting other work that might be otherwise accepted.
Takingdictation.com reserves the
right to refuse consultation to clients with overdue balances until the
amount
owed is paid in full. In this way, the
policy of Takingdictation.com is similar to that of most public libraries—once an
overdue balance is
paid, the client returns to good standing and may once again submit as
often as
desired.
